About

Hi, my name is Lindsey Lautsbaugh. I live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with my husband and two boys. I grew up in Washington State, a Pastor’s daughter and card carrying tom-boy. At 19-years-old I packed my bags, hopped on a plane and headed to the African continent. I lived in Cape Town, South Africa for the majority of the next 20 years. This single fact shaped me in deeply humbling, painful and joyful ways.

At the age of 40, I had the surprise of my life. God called our little family to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to work with a local church.

Over the years, I lived through a relational roller coaster I now call my life. I look back and can see that my greatest pain and most profound joy came through my relationships. As I heard the stories of others, they sounded a lot like mine… full of relational joy, brokenness and everything in between. One thing I realized we all had in common was this: relationships make up our life and life is our relationships.

This blog started as a an expression of my thoughts on living life in relationship with others. Over the years it has come to include my passion for engaging culture with the Gospel.

In full transparency, I love the Seattle Seahawks and the U.S. Women’s National Team (soccer). If you dislike either of these teams, you are still welcome here.
